Industrial Disease

Many people sustain injuries every year due to their working environment and prolonged exposure to harmful working conditions that their employer is under a duty to protect them against.

Typically these injuries arise as a result of exposure to hazardous materials or constant and prolonged exposure to working practices without the appropriate health and safety equipment. Injuries can then arise as a result of the employers negligence in their duty to protect an employee against these often foreseeable risks.

If you believe that you are suffering with an illness or sustained an injury which may be due to your working environment it is best practice to consultant a doctor. If the doctor then confirms that your condition was caused by your working environment you may be able to obtain compensation from your employer.
