We deal with personal injury claims by entering into a Conditional Fee Agreement, with our clients which are commonly known as ‘no win, no fee agreements’.
If your claim is successful
In a ‘no win, no fee’ agreement we will only be paid if the claim is successful. We will also be entitled to an extra fee (known as a success fee). Both the basic fee and this extra fee are normally paid by the losing party.
In order to pursue a personal injury claim it is necessary to incur costs (such as court fees or the fee for a medical report). These are known as disbursements. Again, the losing party should pay these costs.
You will keep 100% of your compensation.
If your claim fails
You will not have to pay us.
We will arrange and fund the purchase of an insurance policy for you which will pay the oppositions legal costs and disbursements if your claim fails. The insurance policy will also repay the cost of any disbursements that have been incurred in pursuing your claim.
Therefore, if your claim fails you will not be liable for any costs or disbursements as long as you have complied with the terms of the No Win No Fee Agreement.
